Sending No Notification

You may configure an instance to send no notification.
To configure an instance to send no notification
1. On the Express5800/320Ma desktop, click the ftServer version Management
Tools icon.
2. Right-click the ftServer Software Availability Manager icon, then click
Properties.
3. On the Express5800/320Ma Monitored Instances tab, click the desired instance
in the Select Instance box.
4. Ensure that there is no check mark in the check box next to Enable alerts for
selected instance.
5. Click OK on the bottom of the Email Alert Setup tab.
6. Click Yes to accept the changes.

Testing Email

The Test Email button tests whether your email is configured properly.
To test email
1. On the Express5800/320Ma desktop, click the ftServer version Management
Tools icon.
2. Right-click the ftServer Software Availability Manager icon, then click
Properties.
3. On the Software Availability Properties page, click the Email Alert Setup tab.
4. Click Test Email.
If your email is properly configured, a message to that effect will appear.
If your email is not properly configured, the message in
suggesting how to troubleshoot the problem.
