Configuring Email
4. In the Email Recipients box, type the email addresses of the persons to receive
this alert.
You must supply at least one name in this box. Separate multiple names with a
semicolon.
5. If you want, change the wording in the Subject and Alert Message Body boxes.
You may leave the Alert Message Body blank. (SAM does not limit the length of the
strings you may enter into either box, but your email application may.)
6. If you want, change the wording in the Return to Normal Message Body box.
7. If you want to include a file or document with the email alert, click the browse button
(with the ellipsis: ...) to the right of the File Attachment (Optional) box to display
the Open dialog box. Then browse to the file you want to include and click Open.
The attached file will be sent when there is an alert (or realert) and when the
current value returns to normal.
8. Click OK on the Email Alert Setup tab.
9. Click Yes to accept the changes.

Nondefault Alert Notification

You may want to create email alert notifications for specific events rather than using
only the default alert. To customize your own alert identifier, you must create one and
then associate it with a selected instance, using the steps shown below.
To create a nondefault alert notification
1. On the Express5800/320Ma desktop, click the ftServer version Management
Tools icon.
