Changing Jumper Settings
The ICP RAID controller normally comes ready to be installed into the computer
motherboard immediately. However, jumper settings are available to:
•
Reprogram the RAID firmware that is located in the flash memory of the ICP RAID
controller.
•
Set the PCI bus speed (force 33 MHz or auto-negotiate 33/66 MHz).
The board contains 2 jumper blocks to control the functions described in
(GDT8546RZ) and
(GDT8546RZ) for jumper locations and pin numbers, and see
description of jumper J1 / FRU jumper.
