5.0 BATTERY CALCULATION SHEET:

STANDBY CURRENT CALCULATIONS
1. The Standby Current for the PS-12/24-8MP is .060 Amps.
2. Multiply by the number of hours required.
TOTAL STANDBY CURRENT IN Amp HOURS.
ALARM CURRENT CALCULATIONS
1. List notification appliance requirements.
ALARM CURRENT FOR THE PS-12/24-8MP
NOTIFICATION APPLIANCE
2. Calculate total notification appliance current plus alarm current for PS-12/24-8MP.
3. Multiply Step 2 by alarm time required.
BACKUP BATTERY REQUIREMENTS
1. Enter Standby Current.
2. Enter Alarm Current from Step 3 above.
3. Add Steps 1 and 2 together.
