Setting up your projector (continued)

TRIGGER terminal

The TRIGGER terminals on the rear of the projector are terminals that output 12 V signal to control externally
connected devices (electric screens) when images are projected.
To use the TRIGGER terminals, set TRIGGER 1 (POWER) or TRIGGER 2 (ANAMO) to ON in the INSTALLATION menu.
(The factory default is OFF. See page 32 for details.) Use the following steps to change the setting.
With the INSTALLATION menu:

1. Display the INSTALLATION menu.
2. Select TRIGGER 1 (POWER) or TRIGGER 2 (ANAMO) by pressing the p or q button.
3. Select ON by pressing the t or u button.
To cancel the menu:
4. Press the MENU button.
Caution:
• Do not use the signal output from the TRIGGER terminals as power for other devices.
• Do not link the TRIGGER terminals with audio terminals of other devices because that devices may be damaged.
• The rated current for the TRIGGER terminals are 200 mA. If you use a current exceeding this rating, a failure may
occur.
• For information about electric screens, please contact screen manufacturers.
