By combining our industry-leading home
networking platforms with the latest
developments in FTTx and multimedia coaxial
networking, 2Wire has created a powerful
solution for the delivery of IP video and other
high-bandwidth applications over any fl avor of
FTTx deployment. The HomePortal® 3000 series
residential gateways support fi ber to the node
and fi ber to the premises with an integrated
advanced VDSL modem.
Our VDSL gateways offer an integrated solution
for delivering data, voice, and entertainment,
boasting fl exible home networking options like
Wi-Fi, multimedia coaxial, Ethernet, and USB. All
2Wire gateways come packed with churn reducing
applications like Content Screening, Access
Controls, Firewall Monitor, and Web Remote
Access, plus they are software upgradeable to
take advantage of future services.

Advanced Diagnostics
A full suite of diagnostics and statistical
data delivers enough information to pin point
trouble on the line. Data is collected using
either the gateway user interface pages or
using TR-069 vendor extensions.
Flexible Networking Options
Multimedia Coaxial Networking interface for
video distribution in the home; HyperG™ high
powered 802.11 wireless access point; plus
Ethernet and USB support and optional USB
device support.
Triple Play Services Platform
Integrated data applications, built-in VoIP optimized
for DSL, support for wireless-wireline convergence,
and industry fi rst multicast IGMP proxy and
snooping for video QoS. Built-in QoS support gives
service providers a fl exible tool for traffi c analysis
and edge policy enforcement.
Exceptional Manageability
The 2Wire gateway provides extensive
support for the DSL Forum TR-069 CPE WAN
Management Protocol Standard and parameter
model, as well as numerous vendor parameter
extensions for functionality not yet defi ned by
the DSL Forum.
