• Rescanning the page: if the page needs to be rescanned, remove
the top page(s) from the exit tray and place the pages back in the
input tray (be sure to correct any document preparation issues).
When the pages are ready to rescan, touch Rescan on the Operator
Control Panel. The preview images will be discarded. If printing was
not enabled, the scanner will immediately start scanning. If printing
was enabled, the scanner will go to the Paused screen where you
can choose to Omit Printing on the next page scanned. You can
then press the Start/Resume button on the scanner to continue
scanning.
Play sound on PC — turn this option on if you want the PC to make a
sound when a multifeed is detected. You can click the Browse button to
select the desired .wav file.
NOTE: The sound on the PC may not occur at the exact time the
multifeed is detected by the scanner.
Patch Readers can automatically sense predefined patch code(s) and
be configured to control document level changes. See the Kodak
publication A-61599, Patch Code Information for Kodak Document
Scanners for complete information.
Patch Confirmation Tone — the confirmation tone may be used to
signal that a patch has been recognized by the scanner. The default is
no confirmation tone.
