Ths sewng machne s provded wth the slcon ol
lubrcatng unt as standard. In case of sewng at a hgh
speed, or usng chemcal thread or chemcal fabrc, use
the slcon ol lubrcatng unt to prevent thread break-
age or sttch skppng.
Ol used s slcon ol (dmethyl slcon).
Open cover 2 of slcon contaner 1 and make sure
that slcon ol enters needle thread, needle tp and sl-
con oil lubricating unit. If silicon oil is insufficient there,
supply t (dmethyl slcon).
When silicon oil adhered to the components
other than the silicon oil lubricating unit,
be sure to wipe it out. If the components to
which silicon oil adhered are kept without
wiping out the oil, sewing machine trouble
will be caused.
) Loosen setscrew 2 of needle 1 wth a screwdrver.
2) Hold the new needle wth ndented part facng to the
rear and nsert t nto the hole n needle clamp 3 un-
tl the end of hole s reached.
3) Securely tghten setscrew 2 of the needle.
