4. EXTERNAL INTERFACE

External nterface means the part to connect the operaton panel and other system. For the use and detals,
refer to the Engneer's Manual.
1) Media slot
Meda slot s nstalled n the face cover located on the left sde of operaton panel.
2) RS-232C port
RS-232C connector s nstalled n the rubber cap located on the back sde of operaton panel.
3) General input port (Production control switch connecting connector)
General nput connector, CN05 s nstalled n the cord outlet cover located on the back sde of operaton
panel.

5. ERROR DISPLAY

In case of the followng, check agan before you judge the case as trouble.
Phenomenon
When tltng the sewng machne,
the buzzer beeps and the sewng
machne cannot be operated.
Solenods for thread trmmng,
reverse feed, wper, etc. fal to work.
Hand lamp does not lght up.
Even when depressng the pedal
mmedately after turnng ON the
power, the sewng machne does
not run. When depressng the pedal
after depressng the back part of
pedal once, the sewng machne
runs.
The sewng machne does not stop
even when the pedal s returned to
ts neutral poston.
Stop poston of the sewng machne
vares (rregular).
Presser foot does not go up even
when auto-lfter devce s attached.
Touch-back swtch fals to work.
Sewng machne fals to run.
Cause
When machne head s tlted wthout
turnng OFF power swtch, trouble
as descrbed on the left sde occurs.
When the fuse for solenod power
protecton has blown out.
Neutral poston of the pedal has
vared.
(Neutral poston may be shfted
when changng sprng pressure of
the pedal or the lke.)
When tghtenng the screw n the
handwheel s forgotten at the tme of
adjustment of needle stop poston.
Auto-lfter functon s OFF.
Pedal system s set to KFL system.
Cord of auto-lfter devce s not
connected to connector (CN37).
Presser foot s gong up by auto-lter
devce.
Auto-lfter devce s not attached.
However, auto-lfter functon s ON.
Motor output cord (4P) s
dsconnected.
Connector (CN30) of motor sgnal
cord s dsconnected.

Correctve measure
Tlt the sewng machne after turnng
OFF the power.
Check the fuse for solenod power
protecton.
Execute the automatc neutral
correcton functon of the pedal
sensor.
Securely tghten the screw n the
handwheel.
Select "FL ON" by auto-lfter functon
selecton.
Change the jumper to PFL settng
to lft the presser foot by depressng
the back part of the pedal.
Connect the cord properly.
Operate the swtch after the presser
foot lowered.
Select "FL OFF" when auto-lfter
devce s not attached.
Connect the cord properly.
Connect the cord properly.
