AUTO-TRIM
AUTO-TRIM is a lockpeg developed by Ned Steinberger and has
the function of cutting strings without tools. Using this peg enables
the replacing of strings without using tools. In addition, as it is a
lockpeg, it can suppress peg tuning irregularities to the minimum.
First, with the string in an untightened condition, point the silver
ball on the post toward the bridge (Fig. 5 A).
While pulling the string, pass it through the post, turn the lock knob
(Fig. 6) firmly and lock the string tightly.
When you turn the tuning knob (Fig. 7) in that state the string will
break. Continue tuning.

When shipped from the factory, Ibanez guitars are set up using the
following tunings.
6-strings guitar
7-strings guitar
6-strings XL guitar
7-strings XL guitar
