TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Burner flame too large .
Burner flame soft - yellow tip .
Delayed Ignition
Pilot Burner will not ignite
Pilot Keeps Extinguishing .
Low millivolt output on
open circuit test .
Millivolt output high in open circuit test
but low in closed circuit test .
Millivolt output high on closed circuit
test but flame safety tap will not stay
open .

equipment . If it is known or suspected that a fault exists on
the appliance then it must not be used until the fault has
been rectified by a competent person .

Pilot burner flame too small .
Burner ports blocked .

SOLUTION
Check setting pressure and injector .
Check primary aeration for blockage .
Check pilot flame adjustment .
Clean blocked burner ports .

Tighten connection .
Replace thermocouple .
Replace flame safety device .
Adjust pilot flame length .
