Use the SleepTimer to program the'I-V/VCR to shut off in a cer-
tain amount of time.

Press the SLEEP/_fAKE UP button.

Press the PLAY/A button or the STOP/_ button to select _.m
SLEEP.Then press the REW(ind)/_l button or the
F.FWD/II_ button to select 30 MIN(utes), 60 MIN(utes), 90
MIN(utes), or 120 MIN(utes). (You can not set the SleepTimer
duringa recording.)

Press the STATUS/EXIT button. The TV/VCR will shut itself
off after the specifiedamount of time.
One minute before the TV/VCR shutsitself off,the secondswill
count down on the screen.
GOOD NIGHT appearson theTV/VCR screen 10 secondsbefore
the TV/VCR shuts itself off.

To cancel the SleepTimer, press the
SLEEP/WAKE UP button. Press the
PLAY/_ button or the STOPS" but-
ton to select SLEEP, t hen press the
REW(ind)/_l button or the
EFWD/I_ button to select OFF.
Press the STATUS/EXIT button.
To see how much time remains
before the TV/VCR shuts itse/f off,
press the SLEEP/WAKE UP button
once. If necessary, press the PLAY/A
button or the STOP/_ button to
select SLEEP. T he remaining time will
appear beside SLEEP.Toremove the
display, press the STATUS/EXIT but-
ton.
The Sleep Timer will be cancelled if
you make a recording after you set
the SleepTimer.
