USB/SD/MMC Operation

This unit is equipped with a USB socket
(suitable for the connection of MP3 players/USB
memory sticks) and a memory card slot (suitable
for SD and MMC type cards.)
Using the USB socket
Connect a suitable USB device to the USB
socket located on the front of the unit.
Remove SD/MMC card from the unit if any.
Press the FUNCTION button on the front of the
unit or on the remote control until DVD mode is
selected. If a DVD/CD is present in the unit,
press the DVD/USB-SD button to select
USB/SD mode.
The files contained in the device (MP3 or WMA)
will be read and begin playback automatically.
The functions available when using a USB
device are exactly the same as when using a
MP3 disc (see MP3/JPEG CD Functions on
pages 28, 29 and 30).
Note: This unit has been designed where
possible to be compatible with most makes of
USB device. Due to the many varied types
available, we cannot guarantee that all makes
and models are able to be used.
Using a SD/MMC card
Carefully insert a suitable memory card (SD or
MMC type) in to the memory card socket located
on the front of the unit. Press the FUNCTION
button on the front of the unit or on the remote
control until DVD mode is selected. If a DVD/CD
is present in the unit, press the DVD/USB-SD
button to select USB/SD mode. The files
contained in the memory card (MP3 or WMA)
will be read and begin playback automatically.
The functions available when using a memory
card are exactly the same as when using a CD
(see MP3/JPEG CD Functions on pages 28, 29
and 30).
