1. Turn TV on.

Select channel to be watched
at TV. If you have a cable
box, select the cable box output channel (usually 3 or 4)
at the TV. Cable box channels
are selected at the cable
box.

On and You Want to Select
Channels
at TV
Turn TV and VCR on.

Place VCR in TV mode by pressing TV/VCR switch on
remote control
repeatedly
until the [VCRI symbol disap-
pears from the VCR front panel.
Select channel to be watched at TV. If you have a cable
box, select the cable output channel
(usually 3 or 4) at
the TV. Cable box channels
are selected
at the cable
box.

2, Place VCR in VCR mode by pressing TV/VCR

on remote

repeatedly

the [Vcfi] symbol
appears in the VCR front panel.
3. Select the VCR output channel (3 or 4) at the TV. If you
have connected
your VCR to the A/V input jacks on the
TV, you should select
the A/V source
at the TV for
improved
picture performance.
4. Select channel
to be watched
at VCR. If you have a
cable box, select the cable box output channel
(usually
3 or 4) at the VCR. Cable box channels
are selected
at
the cable box.

NOTE:
Equipment
connected
to the front Audio/Video
(A/V) jacks on the VCR has operational
priority over equip-
ment connected
to the rear A/V jacks.
