    Requirements The 55i IP Phone requires the following environment: • SIP-based IP PBX system or network installed and running with a SIP account created for the 55i IP phone. • Access to a Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server, or Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) (HTTPS).

    The following sections describe the various 55i phone key functions, and how they help you make and manage your calls and caller information. Key Descriptions The following table identifies the keys on the key panel of your 55i IP phone that you can use for handling calls. Keys Goodbye key - Ends an active call.

    The "Live Dialpad" option on the IP phone turns the Live Dial Pad mode ON or OFF.
