Using the AUTO ASPECT feature (480i signals only)
When the AUTO ASPECT feature is set to ON and theTV receives a
480i signal, the picture size is automatically selected (as described in
the following table).

TheAUTOASPECT feature is not available

1. To turn on the AUTO ASPECT feature: Press MENU, and then
press • or I_ until the THEATER menu appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight AUTO ASPECT, and then press
• or I_ to select ON.

Selecting
the cinema mode
When you view a DVD movie (3:2 pulldown processed) from a DVD
player connected to the ColorStream (component video) or
DV1/HDCP inputs on the TV, smoother and more natural motion
can be obtained by setting the CINEMA MODE to FILM (auto).
To set the CINEMA MODE to FILM (auto):
1. Press MENU, and then press • or I_ until the THEATER menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight CINEMA MODE.
3. Press • or I_ to select FILM (auto).
