OPERATION
9. Electric Start: Depress thestarter p ushbutton (A,Figure 11).Afteryou
start t heengine, firstdisconnect theextension c ordfromthewallreceptacle
and thenfromthepower c ordreceptacle (B).

IMPORTANT:To extend the life of the starter, use short
starting cycles(five secondsmaximum). Wait one minute
between starting cycles.
NOTE:If the engine does not start after three attempts, see the
Engine Manual Troubleshooting section.
STOPTHEENGINE
Before stoppingtheengine for a fewminutesto helpdry off anymoisture
on theengine.
NOTE:Do not lose the safety key. Keepthe safety key in a safe
place. The engine will notstart without the safety/ignitionkey.

ARNING:Gasoline and vaporsare extremely
flammable and explosive. Fire or explosion can
cause severe burns or death. DO NOT chokethe
carburetorto stop the engine.
1. PushtheON/OFF switch(A,Figure12)totheOFF position.
2. Remove thesafety key(B).Keep thesafetykeyoutof the reach of
children.
