This information applies to Connection C in the
Connections Foldout.
Connection C provides:
• " Stereo sound from broadcast programs
• Stereo sound from VCR
• Picture in Picture (PIP)
,. Watch one channel on TV while recording another channel
To use this connection you must have:
• (2) coaxial cables
• (6) audio/vide0 cables
t (2) s-video cables (optional)
To connect:
'!. Connect cable_ as shown in Connection C.
2. Return to First Things Fiist, then follow the steps in the
Interactive Setup.
USING CONNECTION C
To watch 1_/programs:
1. Turn VCR off.
2. Press TV and tune to a channel.

record one program andwatch another:
Press VCR1 and tune to a channel.
Begin recording.
Make surethe TV/VCR switch on the VCR is set to TV.
Press TV and tune tO a channel.
To play a tape on the VCR:
1. PressVCR1.
2. Press PLAY.
To play a laserdisc:
