Air Dry
Select this energy-saving
option to dry without heat. Air drying is
useful when loads contain plastic dinnerware that may be
sensitive to high temperatures.
The dishes take longer to dry and some spotting can occur. For
best drying, use a liquid rinse aid. Some items (such as plastics)
may need towel drying.
NOTE: Air Dry is an option with all cycles, except Rinse Only.
Control Lock
Use the Control Lock to prevent unintended use of the
dishwasher. You can also use the Control Lock feature to prevent
unintended
cycle or option changes during a cycle.
When Control Lock is lit, all buttons are disabled.
NOTES:
The dishwasher
door can be opened while the controls are
locked.
You can turn on the Control Lock while the dishwasher
is
running.
To turn on Control Lock
Press and hold
O
for 4 seconds. Control Lock glows.
If you press any pad while your dishwasher
is locked, the light
flashes 3 times and the selection is ignored.
To turn off the Control Lock
Press and hold AIR DRY for 4 seconds. The light turns off.
Delay Start (models with dual-digit
display)
Select this option to run your dishwasher at a later time or during
oft-peak hours. You can add items to the load anytime during the
delay countdown.
After adding items, close the door firmly until it
latches. The delay countdown
will not continue if the door is not
latched.
You can delay the start of a cycle up to 12 hours.
The first time you use Delay Start, you will see
showing a 1-hour delay.
After the first time that you use delay, the control will start by
calling up the last delay that you ran. You can adjust from
there if you want to change it.
To delay the start
1. Close the door.
2. Repeatedly press
until you see the desired hours of delay in the display.
When the delay reaches 12 hours, the delay turns off. Press
DELAY START again to select a new number of delay hours.
3. Select a wash cycle and options.
NOTE: To cancel the delay and cycle, press CANCEL. To cancel
the delay and start the cycle immediately, press DELAY START
until no hours show in the display.
Delay Start (models with 2-4-8 hour button)
Use Delay Start to run your dishwasher at a later time or during
oft-peak hours. You can add items to the load anytime during the
delay countdown. After adding items, close the door firmly until it
latches. The delay countdown
will not continue if the door is not
latched.
To delay the start
1. Close the door.
2. Press DELAY START 1 time for a 2-hour delay. 2 times for a
4-hour delay, or 3 times for an 8-hour delay.

3. Select a wash cycle and option.
The number glows below Hours. The dishwasher starts the cycle
in the selected number of hours. If you do not press a cycle
within 30 seconds, the Delay Start indicator turns off.
NOTES:
To cancel the delay and cycle, press CANCEL.
To cancel the delay and start the cycle, press DELAY START
until "8" glows. Then press DELAY START one more time. The
delay turns off and the delayed cycle starts.
Follow the progress of your dishwasher with the Cycle Status
indicators.

Sensing/Soaking
Sensing/Soaking
glows during both the Sensing and Soaking
parts of the cycle. Your dishwasher senses soil level during soil
sensing intervals and water temperature
during Water Heating
pause intervals. Your dishwasher soaks when Soak & Scour is
selected. Washing continues while Sensing occurs. Washing
pauses for regular intervals during a soak.
