Using the Viewfinder
The camcorder's

camcorder
when recording.
When the LCD monitor
is open more than 45 °, the

automatically
turns off.

Adjusting
the Viewfinder
for Convenient
Viewing
For convenient
viewing,
rotate the viewfinder
horizontally,
pull it out from the cam-
corder, and adjust the eyepiece.
Eyepiece
Focus Control
The eyepiece
focus control lets you set the
Eyepiece Focus
focus of the viewfinder
for your vision.
If you wear eyeglasses,
you probably
can
operate the camcorder
without
them.
It is easiest to set the correct
focus by
focusing
on one of the viewfinder's
on-
screen displays.
Look through the
viewfinder
and adjust the eyepiece
focus
control for your vision.
The eyepiece
focus control does not affect
the focus of the picture actually
recorded
by the camcorder.
