Because AACS (Advanced Access Content System)
is approved as content protection system for B D
format, similar touse o [CSS (Content Scramble
System) for D VD format, certain restrictions are
imposed on playback, analog signal output, etc.,
ofAACS protected contents. The o peration ofthis
product and r estrictions on this product may vary
depending on your time o fpurchase as those
restrictions may be adopted and/or changed by
AACS after the production ofthis product.
Furthermore, BD-ROM Mark and B D+ are
additionally used as content protection systems
for B D format, which imposes certain restrictions
including playback restrictions for B D-ROM
Marl< and/or BD+ p rotected contents. To obtain
additional information on AACS, BD-ROM Mark,
BD+, or this product, please contact an authorized
Customer Service Center.
• Many BD-ROM/DVD discs are e ncoded with
copy protection. Because ofthis, you should only
connect your player directly toyour TV, not toa
VCR. Connecting toaVCR results inadistorted
picture from copy-protected discs.
• This product incorporates copyright protection
technology that is protected by U.S. patents
and o ther intellectual property rights. Use of
this c opyright protection technology must be
authorized by Macrovision, and i sintended for
home and o ther limited viewing uses only u nless
otherwise authorized by Macrovision. Reverse
