Removing the Hard-Drive Fan(s)

1. Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page
2. Remove the left side-panel (see "Removing the Left Side-Panel" on page
3. Remove the PCI shroud (see "Removing the PCI Shroud" on page
4. If you are removing the left hard-drive fan, remove the power supply (see
"Removing the Power Supply" on page 85).
5. Disconnect the hard-drive fan cables from the HDD_FAN1 and HDD_FAN2
connectors on the master I/O board (see "Master I/O Board Connectors" on
page 12).
6. Press the hard-drive fan shroud handle down and pull the hard-drive fan out
of the chassis.
7. Remove the two screws that secure the hard-drive fan to the hard-drive fan
shroud.
8. Remove the hard-drive fan from the hard-drive fan shroud.
