Whenever you access, copy, save, move, or open a file, Realtime Protection scans the file to ensure that a virus has not attached itself. To supplement File System Realtime Protection if you use a groupware email client, Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition detects it at install and includes Realtime Protection for email attachments as well.
