CONTROL
Activatingthechoke controlclosesthechoke plateon carburetorand

Pressing the primer, making sure to cover the
vent holewhen pushing,forcesfueldirectly
intothe engine'scarburetor to aid in cold-weatherstarting.

The recoilstarterhandle is usedto startthe engine.
GAS CAP
Removethegas cap to add fuel.
Oil Drain

KEY
The key is a safetydevice.It must be fully insertedin
order for theengineto start. Removethe key whenthe
snowthroweris not in use.
NOTE:Do notturn the key in an attemptto startthe
engine.Doingso maycause it to break.
AUGER
Whenengaged,the augerrotationdrawssnow intothe augerhousing
and throwsit out the dischargechute.Rubberpaddleson theauger
also aid in propellingthe snowthroweras theycome in contactwith
the pavement.
AUGER
CONTROL
Locatedon the upper handle,the augercontrolhandleis usedto
engageand disengagedriveto the auger.Squeezethe control handle
againstthe upper handleto engagetheauger;releaseit to disengage.
MUFFLER
Engineexhaustexitsthe enginevia the muffler.
