Step 0 Select Cycle
Press the control dial in and turn clockwise
to the desired cycle. Pull the dial out to start
the washer.
COLORS is designed to clean colored items
as well as dress shirts, dress pants, business
casual and poly/cotton to reduce wrinkling.
HEAVY: 18 minutes of wash time.
NORMAL: 12 minutes of wash time.
LIGHT: 9 minutes of wash.

NOTE: HEAVY and NORMAL settings on all cycles
will change agitation speeds during the wash time.
You may hear this change in speed. This is normal.
PREWASH (select models) is designed for very
soiled loads of laundry. This setting is best used
with two doses of detergent. Place one dose of
detergent in the tub with the laundry. Place the
second dose of liquid detergent in the liquid addi-
tive dispenser (see page 6). The cycle will wash
for approximately 9 minutes, then spin and drain.
The washer will then refill with clean water and
the second dose of detergent and proceed through
the WHITES cycle.

Note: Liquid fabric softener cannot be added to the
load through the liquid additive dispenser when
using the PREWASH setting.
PRESOAK (select models) allows for a total of 33 min-
utes wash time. The first 12 minutes are periods of agi-
tation and soak followed by 21 minutes of agitation.
PRESOAK automatically advances through the wash
cycle.
OR
SOAK ONLY (select models) must be selected under the
"Customize Cycle." There will be a brief period of agi-
tation followed by a soak. Soaking should be no longer
than 30 minutes. The control dial must be advanced
manually to a spin or a wash setting.

WHITES is designed to clean
underwear, T-shirts and other
cotton sturdy items like towels,
sheets, jeans etc.
HEAVY: 21 minutes of wash
time.
NORMAL: 15 minutes of
wash time.
LIGHT: 9 minutes of wash
time.
DELICATES is designed to clean items
requiring a gentle wash action. This
would include blouses, nylons, lingerie
and dress shirts.
NORMAL: 15 minutes of wash and
soak cleaning action.
LIGHT: 9 inint]tes of wash and soak
