Follow these steps to set the rating level for your DVDs. DVDs
whose ratings exceed the level you set will not play.
Press DVD to put the System
in DVD mode. The red
DVD light will be on. Press STOP [] to stop Disc playback if
necessary.
Press SETUP/PROG.
The QUICK
SETUP screen will
appear.
Press II_ to select CUSTOM
at the top of the menu,
then press OK. Thi_ menu will appear.

password.
PARENTAL
LEVEL will be selected.
Press OK.

After making your selection, t he previousmenu will appear.
The level you selected will appearbeside PARENTALLEVEL.

rating exceeds the level you set, an
on-screen message will indicate the
DVD cannot play. Remove the DVD,
then set PARENTALLEVELto ALL
Reload the DVD and begin play-
back. Same DVDs may let you enter
your four-diglt password to begin
playback. Follow the on-screenmes-
sagesas prompted.
• Youcannot use the default password
(4737) to play a DVD.
