Before you begin, pressVCR so the redVCR light appears on the
front of the System.
Forward and Reverse Searching (SP/LPISLP)
During tape playback, press and release FF I=_ or
REW -441. A fast forward or reverse picture search will
begin.
To return to playback, press PLAY I_.
Super High Speed Searching (LP/SLP)
During tape playback, press FF _ or REW _1, then
press again. The search speed will increase. Repeatedly
pressing FF _ or REW _1 will switch between regular and
high speed searching.
To return to normal playback, press PLAY I_.
Viewing a Still Picture
During tape playback, press PAUSE I I. A still picture will
appear on the screen.
To advance the still picture one frame at a time, press
PAUSE ! II repeatedly.
To release the still picture and return to playback,
press PLAY I_.
Viewing a Slow Motion Picture
2 During i_ape playback, press SLOW. The tape will play in
slow mot.ion.
To return to normal playback, press PLAY I_.
• Slow and Still modes will switch to
Stop mode after five minutes to
protect the System's VCR and the
tape from damage.
• SP/LP/SLP means this feature will
work with tapes recorded in
Standard Play,Long Play, or Super
Long Play.LP/SLP means this
feature will work with tapes
recorded in Long Play or Super
