F.FWD (Fast Forward) Button
When in Stop mode, press to fast forward the tape at high speed.
When in Play mode, press to fast forward while the picture stayson-
screen. Detailsare on page 46.
Or, if you have a Magnavox"IV, presswhen in "IV mode to adjust
(increase) the picture controls in the "IV menu system.
SLOW Button--
During tape playback, press to view the picture in slow motion.
Press a second time to resume normal playback.

When tape playl_ck_s stopped, press_to rewind the tape at high
speed. During play.ok, press to rewind the tape while the picture
stays on-screen. Detailsare on page 46.
Or, if you have_iH_gnavoxTV, press:_vhen in TV mode to adjust
(decrease) the picture controls in the "IV menu system.
MENU

Or, press three to 18 times to start a one touch recording (an imme-
diate recording, 30 minutes to eight hours long) of the channel you

Jog
When you turn this dial in either direction while in the Jog & Shuttle
mode, the tape moves forward or backward frame-by-frame at a I
speed that corresponds to the speed at which the dial is turned.

Shuttle Ring-----[
Turn and hold this ring while in the Jog& Shuttle mode to do a for-
ward or backward search.The more the ring is rotated, the faster the
search will be. Details are on page 47.

Channels I - 9 •
To select, press 0, then press the channel you want. For
example, to select channel 7, press 0, 7.
Channels 100 and above _
To select, press the + 100 button, then press the last two digits of the
channel you want. For example, to select channel I 17, press the + 100
button, I, 7.
