Grounding Instructions
For personal safety, the cooktop must be properlygrounded. For maximum
safety, the power cord must be plugged into an electrical outlet that is
correctly polarized and properly grounded.
DO NOT Operate the cooktop using a 2-prong adapter or an extension cord.
if a 2-prong wail receptacle is the only available outlet, it is the personal
responsibility of the consumer to have it replaced with a properly g rounded
3-prong wall receptacle installed by a qualified electrician.

Liquefied Petroleum (Propane) Gas Conversion
This appliance can be used with Natural Gas or Propane Gas. It is
shipped from the factory for use with natural gas.
Only a qualified service agent should perform the L.P. conversion. If
L.P. conversion is needed, contact 1-800-4-MY-HOME®forassistance.
An L.P. kit is provided with this appliance. It is contained in an envelope
marked "FOR LP/PROPANE GAS CONVERSION". The conversion
must be performed in accordance with the kit instructions and all local
codes and government requirements. Failure to follow instructions
could result in serious injuryor property damage. The qualified agency
performing this work assumes responsibility for the conversion.

the cooktop, may occur if the cooktop is not converted
by a qualified installer or electrician.
