and HI for an unlimimd

of heat
settings.
With the infinite
switch the
element
wcles on and off to maintain
your selected
control
setting.
The ON indicator light will glow when
any surface element is on.
A HOTSURFACE indicator light will gk_w
when any radiant element is turned on
and will remain on until the surface is
cooled to approxhnately
150°E
NOTE:
It comes on whenthedement ishot to the
touch.
It staysonevenafter theelementis turnedoff

About the radiant surface

The radiant cooktop fe.amres heating
elements behead1 a stoned1 glass surface.
NOTE" A slight odoris normal w hena new
cooktop is usedforthefirst time.It is caused by
theheatingof newpartsandinsulating materials
andwill disappear i n a shorttime.
NOTE"Onmodels with light-colored glass
cooktops, it isnormal f or thecooking zones to
change colorwhenhot orcoolingdown.Thisis
temporary andwill disappear a sglasscoolsto
roomtemperature.
The surface
element
will cycle on and off
to maintain
your selected
control
setting.
Avoid placing
utensils
flint could
become
hot or plastics that could melt
on the smface
element
until it has
cooled
completely.
Water stains (mineraldeposits)are removable
using the cleaning creamor full strength white
vinegar

Don'tstoreheavy itemsabovethecooktop.

elements

turned
off; the glass cooktop
retains
enough
heat to continue

avoid overcooking,

pans flom

elements
when the food
is cooked.
