SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including
the foflowing:
: Use this appliance only fbr its intended use as
described in this manual.
Do not attempt to repair or replace any
part of your cooktop unless it is specifically
recommended
in this manual. All other
ser_ddng should be referred to a qualified
technician.

the cooktop power supply at the household
distribution panel by removing the flise or
su_tching off the circuit breaker.
Be sure your appliance is properly installed
and grounded by a qualified technician in
accordance with the pr(Mded installation
instructions. This appliance must be supplied
u{th the proper vohage and flequenc); and
connected to an indMdual, properly grounded
branch circuit, protected by a circuit breaker
or fuse acceptable for the indicated u'attage
on the name plate.

cooktop. They may become hot and could
cause burns.
Never wear loose-fitting or han_ng
gmments
while using the appliance. Flammable material
could be ignited if brought in contact with hot
stirfhce elements and may cause severe burns.
Use only d%vpot holder_moist
or damp pot
holders on hot stirfhces may result in burns
flom steam. Do not let pot holders touch hot
surfi_ce elements. Do not use a towel or other
btflky cloth. Such cloths can catch fire on a hot
stirfhce element.

Do not use water on grease fires. Never pick tip
