2. Turn the knob in either

direction to the desired
heat setting.
The control must be pushed in to set only from the
OFF position. When the control is in any position
other than OFF, it may be rotated without pushing in.
When boiling water, for more efficient use, turn the knob
to H! to bring it to a boil faster. After the water has come
to a boil, reduce the knob setting to medium-high. The
heat will still be great enough to maintain a boil, but you
will be using less energy.
Be sure you turn the control knob to OFF when you
finish cooking,
An indicator light will glow when any surface unit is on.

NOTE: At HI or Medium High, never leave food
unattended. Boilovers cause smoking; greasy spillovers
may catch fire.
