deep cleanerwill no longerpick up dirty
solution and the motorsound will

When this happens turn deep cleaner
off and empty recovery tank before
continuing use,
Checkclean solutiontank also; it may
need to be refilled.
Brush speed selector
Your "SteamVac' d eep cleaner has
agitator brushsettings,
HI - for normalcleaningof carpetand
bare floors
LO - for gentle cleaningof carpets and
bare floors
OFF - for cleaningcarpetsand bare
floors when brushing is not desired.
(Such as when picking up liquid spills.
See page 10.)
Slide selectorbuttonto the desiredset-
ting beforecleaning.

Brush indicator
The brush indicatorwill spin (F)
when the deep cleaner is turned
ON and the brushesare rotating.
If the indicatordoes not spin and the
pattern is visible (G) when the deep
cleaner is turned ON, the brushes are
not rotating.
There are three reasonswhy the brushes
may not be rotating:
1. Brush speed selector set on OFF(see
previous section),
2. Handle in uprightposition (see
'Cleaning mode indicator,"p. 6).
3. Brush indicator screen dirty.
Tocleanscreen (H), rum deep dean-
;er off and disconnectfrom electrical
outlet.
Removeclear cover and wipe off screen
with a damp cloth. Snap cover back into
position,

How to fill
Disconnect deep cleaner from
electrical outlet.
_uPlace deep cleanerhandle in the
wight, locked position.
To remove tank, press down on handle
and pull forward.
Carrytank to a sink.
