REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION AND
REPLACEMENT

Open the battery cover of the remote transmitter by
pushing the notched part of the cover with your
fingers.
Insert new =AA" size (SUM-3) batteries or equiva-
lent for the Genius Remote. When replacing old
batteries, push them towards the springs and lift
them out.
Matchthe (+) and (-) marksin the battery compart-
ment.

CAUTIONS
1. If your televisionset is to remain unusedfor a long period of time, for instance,when you go on a vacation,
unplugthe televisionset from the wall outlet.
2. Do not allow the Remotetransmitterto shockssuch as droppingit on the floor,etc. Precisionparts may be
damaged.
3. Do not allowthe remotetransmitterto become wet and avoidplacingitin areasof highhumidity. Don'tleave
it on or near a heater. Excess heat or moisturemay cause the unitto cease operation.
4. Ifthe batteriesbecome exhausted,Remotecontroloperationmay becomeerraticor stopaltogether. Replace
the old batterieswith fresh "AA"(SUM-3) types.
NOTES
1. When the power buttonis set to OFF, the OFF TIMER is released.
2. The channel No. indication, v olume indicationand OFF TIMER indicationare notdisplayedsimultaneously.
3. To operate yourTV, pointthe Remote transmitterat the remote sensorof the TV.
