    • Model number and serial number are indicated on back side of the set. POWER SOURCE This Hitachi color TV is designed to operate on 120 volts 60Hz, AC household current. Insert the power cord into a 120 volt 60 Hz outlet.

Please fill out your warranty card at once and mail it to HITACHI. This will enable HITACHI to notify you promptly in the improbable event that a safety problem should be discovered in your model of product.

VHF (75 ohm) antenna/CATV When using a 75 ohm coaxial cable system, disconnect the VHF adaptor from the VHF 75 ohm receptacle and connect the outdoor antenna or CATV cable to a VHF 75 ohm receptacle 2.

For best performance, video cables should use 75-ohm coaxial shielded wire. Cables can be purchased from most stores that sell audio/video products.

If a fixed (non-moving) pattern is left on the screen for long periods of time at a high CONTRAST or BRIGHTNESS setting, the image can be permanently imprinted onto the screen.

This will allow you to skip over unused channels when using the CHANNEL UP ( ) or DOWN ( ) buttons.

FREEZE BUTTON WITHOUT A SUB-PICTURE: Press this button without a sub-picture to freeze the picture you are currently viewing.

Press MENU, 2, ENTER to select the PICTURE PROGRAM functions. Press the CURSOR buttons to select and make adjustments.

Press MENU, 3, ENTER, 1, ENTER to select the SOUND PROGRAM.
