The rotor
cannot be thoroughly
inspected
without
removing it from the generator
assembly. In
addition, detailed components
of the rotor
must be
de-soldered
in order to determine
its servicability.
Specific instructions
as well as general information
about this procedure
is given at the end of
"Removing The Meccalte-Generator"
on page 46.

windings and
compare values to chart on page 40.
