Installing Motherboard Components

This section describes how to install components on to the
motherboard, including CPUs, memory modules and PCI
cards.

2.3.1 Removing the Chassis Cover

Follow these instructions to remove the Transport TX46-
B4985 chassis cover. This step is required before any other
procedures in this chapter can be undertaken.
To remove the rear cover and expose motherboard
components:
1. Pull up the two retaining clips, and lift off the cover.
To remove the front cover and expose storage media, cooling
fans and power supply:
1. Remove the two screws and lift off the cover.
NOTE: The front cover cannot be removed without first
removing the rear cover.
