KEY
The key isa safetydevice.It mustbe fully

the key whenthe snowthrowerisnot in use.

The shiftleverislocatedon the dash panel.Placethe shift leverinto
anyof eight positionsto controlthe directionof travel and ground
speed.
Forward
Yoursnowthrowerhas six forward(F) speeds.Positionone (1)is the
slowestand positionsix (6) isthe fastest.
Reverse
Yoursnowthrowerhastwo reverse(R) speeds.One (1) is the slower
and two (2) isthe faster.
CHOKE
CONTROL
The chokecontrolis foundon the rearof the
engineand isactivatedby turningthe rotary
choke knobto the CHOKEposition.Activating
the chokecontrolclosesthe choke plateon the
carburetorand aids in startingthe engine.
