Clearance
A
CAUTION: SWEEP OF BAGGER may result in
minor or moderate injury, unit or property
damage. ALWAYS be aware of maximum sweep
of bagger when turning. ALWAYS allow
adequate clearance between bagger, personnel,
and other objects when turning.
The bagger baskets extend beyond the end of the unit.
• Insure that adequate clearance is provided between
both the rear tail swing of bagger and the front swing
of the unit to avoid injury to personnel or damage to
nearby objects.
• To trim around objects keep them on the left side of
the unit.
Lush, extra heavy, tall or wet grass may require two
cutting passes. First, cut with mower set at its highest
cutting height (maximum cutting height from ground
surface). Then recut grass at a lower setting. Overlap
width of cut to suit your conditions.

Lawn Conditions
When operating your grass catcher on a lawn where
grass and leaf bagging equipment has not been used,
you are picking up thatch and debris that has
accumulated for long periods of time. As a result, the
amount collected and the total time of operation may
be greater than you will experience with regular use of
your grass catcher.
NOTE: It may be necessary to overlap width of cut to
suit your conditions.
Bagger works best when bagging dry grass. Operate
from 10 A.M. to 6 RM. when morning dampness has
left, but before evening dew.
Mower pan and bagger parts will require more frequent
cleaning if mowing high moisture content grasses.
Grass clippings collected under these conditions tend
to be sticky and adhere to the walls of the flow path
causing clogging.
• Install a new plastic lawn bag with the edges of the
bag draped over upper lip of the basket.
• Repeat for the other basket.
• Reinstall baskets.
• Close cover and secure with hook.
