PROBLEM
Brake does not stop
blade within six
(6) seconds.
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE - MOTOR
PROBABLE CAUSE
1. Brushes not seated
or lightly sticking.
2.
Motor brake winding--
overheated from use of not-
recommended accessory
or rapid on/off cycling.
3. Arbor screw loose.
4. Other.
Motor does not start. 1. Fuse.
2. Brushes worn.

Brush sparking when 1. Normal--automatic brake
switch released, working properly.
SUGGESTED CORRECTIVE ACTION
--Inspect/clean/replace brushes
(see maintenance section).
--Use a recommended blade.
--Let cool down,
