LOWER BLADE GUARD
NOTE: Lower blade guard operation is
automatic. The blade guard will deploy and
completely cover the blade as the Cutting
Head is allowed to rise to its upper position.
ON/OFF Trigger Switch (Fig. U)
The ON/OFF Trigger Switch is located in the
Cutting Head Handle. It is a non-latching
type. Squeeze the trigger switch to start the
machine motor. Release the switch to turn
OFF the power to the motor.

NOTE: All adjustments for the operation of
the laser guide have been completed at the
factory.

regarding the laser guide, call the Sears
Service Center.

THE LASER GUIDE
Your saw is equipped with a Laser cutting
guide using a Class 11 laser beam. The laser
beam enables the operator to preview the
path of the saw blade on the stock to be cut
before starting the saw. This laser guide is
powered by two 'AAA' batteries located in the
battery box positioned to the Right Hand side
of the neck just below the chop pivot.
To turn the LASER 'On' and 'Off' use the
rocker switch found on the battery box.

IA WARNING I
Laser is radiated when the laser guide is
turned on. Avoid direct eye contact into
the laser beam. Always unplug the saw
from the power source before making any
adjustments.
