Real-Time Clock Installation Guide GL4xxe Real-Time Clock Installation Before installing the Real-Time Clock chip, make sure the printer is OFF and disconnected from the power supply. Make sure you have discharged any static electricity (by touching a grounded component on the printer). Remove all interface cards prior to removing the rear side cover.

Real-Time Clock Installation Guide GL4xxe Real-Time-clock Installation Insert the chip labelled (3) into the socket, making sure that Pin 1 of the chip is aligned to Pin 1 of the socket. Mount it into place firmly. Reinstall the Left-Side cover and reconnect the interface card, power and signal cables.

Real-Time Clock Installation Guide Clock configuration via the LCD Menu OFFLINE 1. Turn the printer ON and wait for it to initialize and go into ONLINE mode. 2. Press the Line Button to go to Offline mode 3. Press the Function Button to display the different menu icons ADVANCED MODE 4.
