5. Define Basic Network and HA Settings
Configure the Quorum server
The Quorum server uses an industry standard Linux operating system. Complete the following
steps to configure the Quorum server:
1. Connect a terminal to the serial port.
2. Login as root. Use the default password printed on the sticker on the back of the server.
3. Enter QSconfig and follow the instructions to configure the networking and other

4. Restart the Quorum server with the command reboot. Disconnect the terminal.
Configure the NAS servers
Before you can access the Command View NAS web interface, you must configure the
primary System Management network port on both NAS servers. In HA configurations, you
must disable DHCP and set up the network parameters manually.
