Dampen another section of clean, lint-free cloth with water and gently wipe the gold
contact area.
Warning:
Do not wipe the nozzles and contacts with the same section of cloth.

To dissolve dried ink, hold the damp cloth against the nozzles for about three
seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry. Let the gold-colored areas dry before you reinsert
the cartridge into the printer.
Reinstall the cartridge and repeat the nozzle test. For help, see page 73.
