From the file list, select the file destination of your scan.

Click Send.
Scanning to Text (OCR)
Using the Text/OCR (Optical Character Recognition) option lets you scan in an image of text
which can be modified in word processor applications.

Open the top cover.

Place your photo face down on the scanner bed in the bottom, right corner.

Close the cover.

Click Start Programs

Select the Text/(OCR) button.

Click the Scan button that matches the destination of your scan.

Select the software application you want to scan to.

Click Send.
You can now edit the document in the word processor application.
