Manual The camera calculates a custom White
Balance based on your target image
(see the following subsection).
If you press OK when the Manua
option is highlighted in the Whib
Balance sub-menu, the Manua
White Balance screen displays. The
Lye View portion of the screen
shows the color tint from the previous
Manual Whte Balance setting that
was made.
NOTE To restore the previous Manual Whte Balance setting,
simply press the QK button in the Manual White Ba ante
screen without pressing the Shutter button.
To change the Manual Whte Balance setting:
Pointthecamera at a white or gray target (suchas a piece
of paper), making surethat the region insidethefocus
bracketsencompasses t he white or gray target.
2 Press theShutterbutton (thecamerawill not take a picture).
Thecamera thencalculatesa customWhite Balancesetting
basedon the region insidethefocusbrackets.Duringthe
calculation,PROCESSING isdisplayed on the screen.
When thecalculation iscomplete,the color tint in LiveView
changesto matchthe newManual Whib Balancesetting,
and WHITEBALANCESETis displayed.
