• A marked drop in the time a fully charged battery retains its charge, when used at room
temperature, indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. Purchase a new EN EL19 battery,
• Replace the battery when it no longer holds a charge, Used batteries are a valuable resource.
Please recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations,
Charging AC Adapter
• The Charging AC Adapter EH 69P is for use only with compatible devices. Do not usewith another
make or model of device.
• The EH 69P is compatible with AC 100 240 V,50/60 Hz electrical outlets. When using in other
countries, use a plug adapter (available commercially) as necessary. For more information about
plug adapters, consult your travel agency.
• Do not, under any circumstances, useanother make or model of AC adapter other than Charging
AC Adapter EH 69P or USB AC adapter. Failure to observe this precaution could result in
overheating or in damage to the camera.
Memory Cards
• Use only Secure Digital memory cards. See "Approved Memory Cards" ([_[_21)
for more information about memory cards.
• Observe the precautions noted in the documentation included with your
memory card.
• Do not affix labels or stickers to the memory card.
• When you use memory cards that have been used with other devices for the
first time, be sure to format them with this camera. We recommend formatting
new memory cards with this camera before using them with this camera.
• Note that formatting permanently deletes all images and other data on the
memory card. Be sure to make copies of any images you wish to keep before
formatting tile memory card.
• If the message Card is not formatted. Format card? is displayed when tile
camera is turnect on, tile memory caret must be formattect. If there is data that
you do not want to delete, tap No. Copy the necessary date to a computer, etc.
If you want to format tile card, tap Yes. Tile confirmation dialog will be
displayed. To start formatting, tap OK.
• Do not perform tile following during formatting, while data is being written to
or deleted from tile memory card, or during data transfer to a computer. Failure
to observe this precaution could result in tile loss of data or in damage to tile
camera or memory card:
Open tile battery chamberYmemory card slot cover to remove/insert tile
battery or memory card.
Turn offthe camera.
Disconnect tile AC adapter.
• Do not format tile memory card using a computer.
