All GPU cards must be of the same type and model.
Ensure that your system uses the redundant 1100 W power supplies.
You can install upto two double-wide GPU cards.
NOTE: You can install two double-wide GPU cards on the optional riser 3.
You can install upto four single-wide GPU cards.
NOTE: You cannot install four single-wide GPU cards on the optional riser 3.

Installing A GPU Card

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform
troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or
telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1.
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and
peripherals.
2.
Open the system.
3.
Unpack the GPU cards and the GPU enablement kit.
4.
Attach the system board support bracket for the GPU card to the system chassis using the screw provided in the
kit.
