CARRIAGE UNIT Removal

Remove the printer mechanism. (Refer to section 3.2.4.)
[Step 1]
Remove the tension spring that holds the CR motor in place. Then, take the timing belt

out of the CR motor drive pulley and the driven pulley.
Remove the ground spring plate on the left side.

Rotate the HOLDER, SHAFT that holds both ends of the carriage guide shaft, and push

the ends inward to disengage them from the left and the right frame of the printer
mechanism.
Remove the FPC cables that go through the base frame assembly.
[Step 5]
Remove the carriage unit along with the carriage guide shaft.
[Step 6]
