D_Port limitations

The D_Port state and test data is not synchronized between the ports. If one of the switches has a
failover, the D_Port link goes though re-initialization. If the remote switch is in final state after
reboot or failover, the D_Port tries to automatically start the test. However, the test cannot proceed
as the other port is already in the final state. When the remote port is in stable state, the test
terminates with the error "Remote port is not ready". If the test is restarted from either side, the test
completes successfully.

Viewing the status of a port

1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Enter the portShow [slot/] port command, specifying the number that corresponds to the port
